Mahesh Bang has travelled to many countries and has advised an innumerable number of people through his expertise.

His knowledge of astro science is the result of 12 years of dedicated learning, which he says never ends and regards himself as a scholar despite his many achievements.

On August 10, 2023, Bang was honoured at a prestigious awards ceremony in Mumbai, India, as the "Best International Astrologer“ for his accuracy.

The award was presented by Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.

On March 1, 2022 , Bang was awarded the "Best Globally Renowned Astrologer". He was honoured by Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia at the Global Fame Awards ceremony in Mumbai.

His predictions of the Covid-19 pandemic put him in the spotlight internationally.

He warned the world in December 2019 of the onset of the pandemic. He was awarded the World Record Star 2020 from the United Kingdom (UK) and received an online certificate of recognition.

On February 2, 2020 he again warned in the Sunday Tribune Herald of the pandemic: "I understand that the situation seems dire currently, however, things will improve. But we have to be cautious again between the period from March 29 to June 30 that would be tough for the world".

That was when the world went into a global lockdown.

On May 17, 2020, he told readers to "brace yourself until 2021", the exact time when things began to ease with travel restrictions etc.

Among his other successful global predictions include the 2018 election of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Bang said the Prime Minister would win the general election with a landslide victory. He had predicted this at a time when many were anti-Modi because of the denometisation of the Indian currency.

Bang also disputed the claims according to the Mayan calendar that the world was going to end in 2012. He said at the time it, “will be the year for true love, not the end of the world".

He also predicted the onset of the world recession in 2008 and 2009.

On March 18, 2007, 24 hours after he predicted coastal disaster in KwaZulu-Natal, the event occurred.

In March 2022, Mahesh Bang received the Best Globally Renowned Astrologer award from Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia at the Global Fame Awards ceremony held in Mumbai. Supplied

He also warned of the massive earthquake that wreaked havoc in Pakistan and India, killing more than 40000 in October 2005, as well as the tsunami that devastated South-East Asia on December 26, 2004 killing hundreds of thousands of people.
