South African rugby players Eben Etzebeth, Cheslin Kolbe, Faf de Klerk, and Vincent Koch were recently spotted enjoying some well-deserved family time in Mauritius.
After a whirlwind year of rugby success, with victories in both the 2023 Rugby World Cup and the Freedom Cup, the Springbok players enjoyed some quality time out with their families at a Club Med resort in Mauritius.
From their posts, the rugby heroes seem to be making the most of the wide range of activities offered at the resort and were even spotted enjoying a friendly game of touch rugby on the beach at sunset.
The Kolbe's holiday was extra special being the family of five’s first holiday. New dads, Eben and Faf, spent time out in the pool with their bundles of joys.
All the families shared their adorable moments; such as their matching swimming costumes and outfits on social media with their followers.
Koch in one of his posts, a picture with the entire group, the players, their wives and children reflected on how they have become family.
“There are friends, there is family and then there are friends that become family,” he wrote.
The group stayed at Club Med La Pointe aux Canonniers, which is located along the white sandy shores of Grand Bay and offers a comprehensive all-inclusive couple and family resort experience.
Located on one of the best stretches of beach in Mauritius, Club Med La Pointe is renowned for its blend of premium and family-friendly amenities. From gourmet dining to watersports and Kids’ Clubs that cater to all ages, the resort seems to have everything the players and their loved ones need for the ultimate escape.
